Development of CIGS thin films with vacuum method

CIGS thin film solar cells have been paid more and more attention currently with the advantages of high optical absorption coefficient,conversion efficiency and stability.Various techniques of CIGS preparation and solar cells are developed rapidly.The highest efficiency of small-area modules with vacuum co-evaporation preparation is up to 19.9%,which is close to the highest efficiency of polycrystal silicon solar cell(20.3%).In this paper,the fabrication process,structure and performance of CIGS thin film solar with vacuum method are reviewed.
