Possible effects of sputtering of materials in thermonuclear power plants on the operation of membrane pumps

The effects of thin Ni, Cr, Ti, and Nb films, e.g., sputtering on the speed of evacuation of hydrogen using a palladium membrane pump applicable to a thermonuclear power plant has been studied. (AIP)
