The standard enthalpy of formation and low-temperature heat capacity of n-butylferrocene
2002
The temperature dependence of the heat capacity of n-butylferrocene was studied in an adiabatic vacuum calorimeter in the temperature range 6-300 K. The temperature, enthalpy, and entropy of fusion were determined, and the thermodynamic functions of n-butylferrocene in the crystalline and liquid states were calculated in the temperature range 0-300 K. The enthalpy of combustion of n-butylferrocene was measured in an isothermal calorimeter with a stationary bomb. The standard thermodynamic functions of formation of liquid n-butylferrocene at 298.15 K were calculated.
