Modulated spontaneous emission via the coupling between Fabry-Pérot cavity and surface plasmon polariton modes

The fluorescence is experimentally controled with bandgap engineering of structured metal surface. Grating duty ratio is optimized as 3/4 and narrow emission spectra are obtained by coupling between Fabry-Perot cavity and surface plasmon polariton modes.
