Abstract:
Understanding of the epidemiology and healthcare service utilization related to atopic dermatitis is necessary to inform the use of new treatments. This cross-sectional study was based on a group of patients with atopic dermatitis and a matched control group comprised of age- and sex- matched enrolees without atopic dermatitis from a large medical database. Healthcare service utilization usage data were extracted and compared between groups. The study included 116,816 patients with atopic dermatitis and 116,812 controls. Atopic dermatitis was associated with an increased burden of healthcare utilization across the entire spectrum of healthcare services compared with controls. For patients severely affected by atopic dermatitis, the increased burden correlated with disease severity: a high-er frequency of emergency room visits (odd ratio (OR) 1.7; 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.6-1.9), dermatology wards hospitalizations (OR 315; 95% CI 0-7,342), and overall hospitalizations (OR 3.6; 95% CI 3.3-3.9). In conclusion, this study demonstrates an increased burden of healthcare utilization in atopic dermatitis. Keywords:

Healthcare 4.0 is inspired by Industry 4.0 and its application has resulted in a paradigmatic shift in the field of healthcare. However, the impact of this digital revolution in the healthcare system on healthcare service quality is not known. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of healthcare 4.0 on healthcare service quality. This study used the systematic literature review methodology suggested by Transfield et al. to critically examine 67 articles. The impact of healthcare 4.0 is analyzed in-depth in terms of the interpersonal, technical, environmental, and administrative aspect of healthcare service quality. This study will be useful to hospitals and other stakeholders to understand the impact of healthcare 4.0 on the service quality of health systems. Besides, this study critically analyses the existing literature and identifies research areas in this field and hence will be beneficial to researchers. Though there are few literature reviews in healthcare 4.0, this is the first study to examine the impact of Healthcare 4.0 on healthcare service quality.

Background: Current trend in quality healthcare services is to work toward providing ‘people-centered’,healthcare that puts the consumers at the center in the health delivery system. This study aims to determinethe level of quality of healthcare services in primary healthcare centers.Method: The study included a simple random sample of (180) health and medical care providers in primaryhealthcare centers in Baghdad City by (5-8) healthcare providers for each center. The study results showed that the general evaluation of the quality of primary healthcare services is highlyefficient and that the result has a significant impact on the beneficiaries’ satisfaction. Conclusion: The researchers concluded that the primary healthcare centers are not commensurate withthe increasing population density, and the lack of an ambulance in most of the primary healthcare centers.Furthermore, the level of confidence in our health institutions regarding service efficiency indicates a highlevel.

With the continuous rise in health care costs globally, there is growing interest in investigating new, innovative ways to improve the quality of healthcare provision. Healthcare providers are being held accountable for the 'quality' of healthcare outcomes, thus triggering a need to audit and evaluate the quality of healthcare provided. This paper presents a technology to monitor and assess the quality of healthcare provision, with the inherent capability of indicating its impact on patients' health. The healthcare quality assessment is designed to identify within an episode 'what went wrong' and, if it did, where the error occurred. The process could be used, for example, to indicate if a patient's health deteriorated due to an inaccurate diagnosis or an inappropriate treatment. This paper positions our healthcare research, presenting the concept of how to monitor the quality of healthcare provision - using an outcome-centric approach via a mechanism called HOME Q-Score (Healthcare Outcomes Monitoring sErvice Quality Score).

Healthcare is a broad yet heterogeneous notion that can be viewed in different ways. On one hand, healthcare is a service industry with major employer status, high expenditure and rapid growth. As a service industry healthcare tends to be objectified as a set of efficient, reproducible, measurable systems. On the other hand, healthcare encompasses a range of human relational experiences. These experiences draw on and reflect people's various situations, perspectives, needs, fears and aspirations, as healthcare providers, patients, clients, consumers and carers.

As e-healthcare becomes a reality for healthcare service provision across the world, challenges in acceptance, implementation, usage and effectiveness have begun to emerge. The infrastructure, readiness and literacy levels required for the effective delivery of e-healthcare services may be prohibitive in providing access to those most in need. As research brings to light the real effectiveness of e-healthcare programmes across the globe, this paper explores how e-healthcare has been implemented worldwide and how populations have been served by an innovation in Information Technology and healthcare that has sought to bring health services to remote areas, improve access to healthcare and narrow the divide between healthcare providers and patients. While notable achievements have seen real time clinical data captured and medical records digitalised, the very determinants responsible for actual health and social disparities are equally responsible for disparities is access to e-healthcare.
