Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the antimicrobial agents usage in a hospital. Methods Forty patients’ medical records were selected for retrospective analysis, patients were discharged in the year of 1998 and 2000 respectively. Results In 1998, antimicrobial resistant rate was higher, 96.25% of patients received antimicrobial agents, antimicrobial cost accounted for 52.38% of the total hospitalization expense; most antimicrobial agents were for treatment, the majority of patients received two kinds of antimicrobial agents simultaneously; in 2002, 93.54% of patients received antimicrobial agents, antimicrobial cost accounted for 50.47% , most antimicrobial agents were for treatment, and majority of patients only received one kind of antimicrobial drugs. There was significant difference in the total usage rate of antimicrobial agents between two surveys. Conclusion Target surveillance on antimicrobial agents usage should be carried out to reduce the overuse of antimicrobial agents and decrease the bacterial resistance.Cite

Objective To investigate the current clinical application of antimicrobial agents and make relevant management measures. Methods The data of the antimicrobial drug application of 25 779 inpatients in our hospital in 2001 were collected and inputted into computer, and statistical analysis was made monthly. Results The total antimicrobial drug usage rate was 67.68% , 69.78% of which was single application and through intravenous route, the most common antimicrobial agents used were penicillins, followed by cephalosporins and quinolones, accounting for 77.94% , most antimicrobial agents used were made in China. Conclusion The key to the restrictive and rational use of antimicrobial agents was to make management measures of the antimicrobial drug application.

OBJECTIVE To study the using of antimicrobial agents in the department of infectious diseases. METHODS To investigate 55 inpatients by cross sectional study. RESULTS Among antimicrobial agents, ofloxacin was the most frequently used. The bacterial examination rate was only 21.05%. CONCLUSIONS Antimicrobial pretreatment is necessary for the severe inpatients. Increasing the susceptibility testing, no using antimicrobial without any reason, no changing antimicrobials frequently could reduce the resistant bacteria.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the standardized clinical application of antibiotics in general hospital, and to provide bases for rational use and management of antibiotics in general hospitals.METHODS During 2007-2009,the use of antimicrobial drugs of the inpatients were summarized monthly, quarterly and each year.RESULTS A total of 16 908 cases of hospitalized patients in recent years, antimicrobial drug use 10,527 cases,62.3% of antibiotic usage, inspection samples were 5134,submission rate of 48.8%.CONCLUSION The use of antimicrobial drug use by the application of the registration form, timely detection of clinical departments, the utilization of antibiotics and antimicrobial drug use is reasonable, timely detection of major pathogenic bacteria of the type of hospital, and drug sensitivity,it is beneficial to the hospital to enhance the reasonable medication monitoring,is conducive to the hospital standardized system of rational use of antimicrobial agents in the implementation of beneficial management of hospitals to improve performance.
