This essay sets forth that association and imagination in singing is a kind of creative form that expresses artistic image in singing, enriches the artistic work and develops singing skills. It emphasizes that the association and imagination is the important factor for deepening singing art and it is the essence for expressing the artistic feeling in singing. Vocality learning is either simple or complex.Because the vocal organs are invisible,we have some difficulties when learning vocality.In teaching vocality,the teacher should motivate the students' imagination. With the help of imagination,the students could grasp the correct ways of breathing and throat opening as well as find the right sounding position.And in addition,the students could finish their characterization by means of imagination.
