Abstract:
Deferent from the developed countries,the force that promotes circulating fluidized bed (CFB)boiler in China is the utility of low rank coal instead of environment protection the 58units of 135 MWe CFB boiler located in 15provinces in China were investigated,and the effect of fuel heating value on their reliability,environmental protection performance as well as economy was compared and analyzed.The results showed that although CFB boiler could burn low rank coal ,its operation performance depended on the fuel property.The reliability decreased with the fuel heating value decreasing.While,the power supply coal consumption and the electric power consumption ratio were improved by increasing the fuel heating value.It is very difficult to operate CFB boiler when the fuel heating value lower than 10.5MJ/kg.Keywords:

Presented was a CFB boiler system( referred to as RGCFB for short) for recovering the low temperature flue gas waste heat by utilizing a separation type heat pipe air preheater and established was a model for calculating the flue gas and air resistance,fan power consumption rate and net efficiency. On the basis of the operating parameters of No. 1 CFB boiler in Jingyu power plant,a contrast and analysis were performed of the thermal efficiency and net efficiency of the CFB and RGCFB boiler under four operating conditions. The research results show that the thermal efficiency of the RGCFB boiler is 1. 28 to 2. 23 percentagepoints higher than that of the CFB boiler and the net efficiency is 0. 51 to 1. 18 percentage points higher than that of the CFB boiler. Finally,the factors influencing the net efficiency of the RGCFB boiler were analyzed and the fact that to use the net efficiency as an index for evaluating the operation of a boiler can effectively guide the economic operation of the boiler was pointed out.

The use of thermal energy formula,from the unit steam temperature,steam pressure,vacuum and various indicators such as parameters and operation mode to analyze the first Taiwan-made 690t / h circulating fluidized bed boiler unit has been put into operation in the factors affecting coal,Shenhua Yili plant would use this analysis when the unit overhaul to make targeted arrangements,unit coal consumption greatly reduced;for the northern alpine region of the fluidized bed technology,the use of air-cooled units provide a reference method of economic operation.

Efficiency Investigation for a Coal-Fired Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler of Power Generation Plant
Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler or CFB boiler was introduced to power generating industry in Thailand in the past decade. There are less than 15 stations with in the country. This present paper is aiming at an investigation of operating thermal efficiency of a CFB boiler with the capacity of 130 ton/hr of steam. The steam is produced to supply the processes within pulp and paper mill and part of the steam supplied to generate the electricity. The fuel of the boiler furnace was sub-bituminous coal. The benefit of using circulating fluidized bed technology is that the low-temperature combustion minimizes the unwanted emission such as NOx and SOx [1-5]. Two well-known methods for efficiency assessment were used for the investigation: they are the Input-Output Method and the Heat-Balance Method [6-9]. The calculations revealed that both methods agreed well to each other and the thermal efficiency was about 90.7 percents. However, the heat-balance method disclosed significant details for each type of losses namely loss due to flue gas, loss due to water from burning hydrogen in fuel, loss due to moisture in fuel. The heat-balance method also considered the credits which were taken into account during the efficiency calculations. Finally, the results showed that major thermal loss of CFB boiler was the flue gas loss at the amount of 3.5 percents.

The fuel feeding stability is one of the most significant issues of the stable operation of circulating fluidized bed(CFB) boiler.But in the daily operation,fuel blocking in front of boilers often takes place.Taking two 410t/h circulating fluidized bed(CFB) boilers of Mao Ming Petroleum and Chemical Corporation as an example,situation of the fuel blocking was introduced,reasons including geometry dimensions of bunkers and fuel characteristics were analyzed,a series of modification measures were carried out.The results showed that big improvement was achieved and the fuel blocking frequency was largely declined from 25 times per day to 2 times per month.The successful improvement provides the database for the design and operation of the CFB boilers.

Introduce the biomass direct-fired circulating fluidized bed boiler which takes farming and forestry residues as main fuel.Do heat efficiency test of this kind boiler under rated,ordinary and maximum load.Then correct the heat efficiency data.The results show that heat loss due to exhaust gas q2 and solid fuel imperfect combustion q4 is the main heat loss of boiler.Correct some data such as inlet air temperature,water supply temperature and fuel characteristics.After correction the heat efficiency of boiler is 87.57%,88.77% and 88.72% while the working condition is 12,13.5,15 MW.

Aiming at high power consumption by auxiliaries of circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, combustion tests were carried out on a 300MW inferior anthracite fired CFB boiler to decrease the bed material inventory via energy saving combustion technologies for CFB boiler based on fluidization reconstruction. The effects of fluidization reconstruction on boiler performance improvement were analyzed. Application practices show that after fluidization reconstruction, the power consumed by auxiliaries of the CFB boiler decreases obviously. Auxiliary power ratio of the 300MW boiler unit has been reduced from 6.1% to 4.3%. The erosion of boiler heating surface has been alleviated obviously.

The CFB boiler has the advantages of high combustion status monitoring,strong coal flexibility,wide variation range of heat load,low discharge capacity of pollutant,and is widely adopted in power generating industry.Because the CFB boiler's combustion principle is different from the other types combustion boiler,it has some problems of wind range,speed slow bed temperature,coal cut-off of fuel feeder during the course of startup.Regarding the above-mentioned problems,the paper puts forward feasible treatment methods.

Through improving the equipments and exploring the operation characteristics,some experience on one HG670/13.7-L.PM19 CFB boiler was gained since commercial running.In order to strengthen the safe characteristics,thirty operation conditions were measured with the optimization regression method.Moreover,the paper analyzed the boiler load,ash,volatiles,low calorific value of coal,coal granularity,bed pressure,the ratio of primary air,the ratio of the up secondary air,the ratio of the down secondary air,Oxygen quantity.

This paper takes two DG1089/17.4-Ⅱ1 CFB Boiler in Inner Mongolia Jingtai Power generation company as example,It is studied the boiler's operation condition at different loads,such as 300MW,209MW,158MW,the feasibility of low bed pressuer(7KPa,5KPa,4KPa) operation,the change of the operation curve and the fan power consumption at low bed pressure.The results show that It increased the power production efficiency.

CFB boiler burning is a complex process which influenced by variety of factors,it carried on the boiler thermal efficiency test in three coals and changed conditions of different loads by SG-475/13.9-M567 CFB boilers,and concluded that load and coal was the main factors which influence thermal efficiency of circulating fluidized bed boiler,while excess air coefficient,the primary air rate,bed pressure,bed temperature and other operating parameters was adjustable within a certain range for the CFB boiler thermal efficiency,then be able to guide plant load distribution,and coal deployment,combustion adjustment of CFB boiler,in order to obtain a good economy,and to provide a reference to other CFB boiler operation.
