In this paper, we evaluate researchers in physics and biology fields where organizational research is often conducted, using betweenness centrality of co-author networks which we have proposed as an evidence-based evaluation index of researchers. In addition, we compare citation-based indexes which is typical indexes of researchers and betweenness centrality of co-author networks which we propose. Then we discuss these indexes from the viewpoints of "visible competencies" and "hidden competencies" and from the viewpoints of "temporal knowledge accumulation" and "organizational knowledge aggregation." Finally, we show effectiveness and importance of the proposed index as an evaluation index of researchers, particularly researchers in organizational research, under the circumstances where collaboration of institutions and fusion of disciplines such as Open Innovation is becoming important.

Social network has become one of method to discover the position of each agent. Social Network Analysis can visualize the connections nodes who is people in social network. in some purpose, SNA becoming one motivation to understand the detailed characteristics that can be used to enhance the learning environment. Another motivation is to understand the interaction pattern and identity people for real-time. This paper is to compare and find compatibility measurement from across study in SNA. Therefore, the study found that centrality is the most measurement to use in SNA.

Social networks have increased in popularity and play an important role in people's life nowadays. Hundreds of millions of people participate in social networks and the number is growing day by day. Social networks have become a useful tool and help people in every field of life such as in education, politics and business. Social networks give people the idea of knowing and interacting with each other, experiencing the power of sharing and being connected with people from different places and countries. The purpose of this study is to analyse the behaviour of actors in a network, the graph and the relationship between actors in social networks. The researcher expects to use the technique of Social Network Analysis with Organisation Risk Analyser (ORA) tool to analyse the data. Three different types of dataset are analysed in the form of network visualisation and centrality measurement. The results reveal the hidden relationships and clusters in the network, and indicate which nodes provide better performance for each centrality measure.

Analyzing social iterations in a scientific environment will assist researchers in expanding their collaborative networks. Scientific social networks represent the researchers' social iterations in an academic environment. The analysis of these networks requires a detailed study of their structure and it is important the use of visual resources in order to a better understanding of how the social iterations occur. In this paper we will use centrality metrics and a clustering algorithm to analyze the structure of a Brazilian scientific social network. A scientific social network visualization tool will be used to allow a visual analysis of the collaboration between researchers from different educational institutions.

Internet technology enables virtual collaboration and plays an important role in knowledge production. However, collaborative technology will not function without conducive underlying social mechanisms. Previous research mostly investigates individual-level motivations of editors, with only a few exceptions examining the collaboration relationships. In this paper, we take a structural perspective and investigate the impact of positions (centralities) of editors in the collaboration networks on their efforts and effort allocations. To achieve this, we empirically reconstruct the dynamic collaboration network of Chinese Wikipedia for the period between 2002 and 2007. Based on a dynamic view of the network, we compose a panel data set that covers both the contribution behavior and network position characteristics of Wikipedia editors. We strengthen our causal interpretation by leveraging the exogenous block that prevented Wikipedia editors in Mainland China from accessing the website. We find distinctive effort allocation patterns that strongly correlate with network centrality measures. This confirms theoretical predictions derived in recent developments in network economics and social network theories. This research enhances our understanding about how collaboration network structure shapes individuals' behavior in online collaboration platforms.

The research of improvisation theory has been become a hot topic of management area in recent years. To analyze the structure of scientific collaborations and the status of individual author, this paper uses the social network analysis approach to analyze the co-authorship network and provides descriptive statistics regarding the structure feature of the whole network and the degree to which researchers are embedded in the co-authorship network. Then this paper analyzes the relationship associating the researchers' embeddedness in the co-authorship network with the researchers' publication count. Results indicate the co-authorship network of the improvisation research is a very fragmented network with strong local clustering. At the same time, statistics analysis shows that authors can have good performance because they are located in the center of a co-authorship network.

The paper presents an AISAS model used to describe the amplification, attenuation of influence and other complex process in marketing process, and the research of using influences and the amount of followers as an index in micro-blogging marketing. Specifically, we present a quantitative relationship between micro-blogging marketing influence and followers amounts used in information sharing, evaluation of marketing effects and adopting social network method to analysis users centrality from point centrality, between ness centrality and closeness centrality. Based on collecting, organizing true data of six typical marketing cases in Sina Micro-blogging, we use correlation and regression analysis to verify rationality of the model and give corresponding suggestions of developing marketing effect by using network topology relationships and searching key nodes.

Collaboration is a form of interaction or a process of participation and can be traced back to the conversation of two metaphors of learning, acquisition and participation, but studies on collaboration emphasize more on the cognitive characteristics than on its situative charactistics. In the paper, the authors identify a set of SNA indicators, such as network density, point centrality, betweenness centrality, network centralization, cohesive subgroups, corepe-riphery model and perform a case research to study the social aspects of education master participating on one online course . In the end, the authors discuss the results and propose further research program.
