    Abstract:
Objective:To establish the method for determination of bornyl acetate in Kaiweixiaoshi oral liquor by gas chromatography. Methods:Naphthalene has been used as the internal standard substance in internal standard method. The GC system consisted of stainless steel column, PEG 20M as the stationary phase, nitrogen as the carrier gas, and FID as the detector. Results:Both bornyl acetate in the preparation and naphthalenet in internal standard have got satisfactory separation under the chromatographic condition. The mean recovery of bornyl acetate was 95.29%, and RSD was 0.61%.Conclusion: The method is sensitive, accurate and reproducible, and it can be used to control the quality of the preparation.

[Objective] To establish a practical method for determination of the trace amounts of methyl alcohol and fusel oil in alcohol by FFAP gas chromatography. It used amyl acetate as the internal standard. [Methods] The sample was put into capillary column and analyzed with FID detector, using the retention time as ration and using amyl acetate as the internal standard. [Results] It showed that the method had good precision with RSD being 0.28%-1.28%.The average rates were 1.08%-96.9%. [Conclusion] The method is rapid, sensitive and suitable for detecting trace amounts of methyl alcohol and fusel oil in alcohol. The result is not affected by the error of injection.

The trace components in a medium-alcoholicity Luzhou-flavor liquor samples were analyzed by static headspace GC-MS(Thermo TR-5MS and Thermo TR-35MS chromatographic column used). Then chromatographic peak area normalization method was used to determine the relative content of each component.A total of 22 kinds of trace elements had been identified.Among them, ethyl caproate, ethyl butyrate, ethyl acetate, ethyl valerate and ethyl propionate etc.had relatively high content, and the content of hydrocarbons, acids, alcohols and other substances were relatively low.

Optimization of the volatile release of two commonly used flavor compounds (isoamyl acetate and furfuryl acetate) from a food emulsion model system was evaluated using response surface methodology (RSM). Twenty-seven random order settings were established using a central composite face-centered (CCF) experimental design. The main and combined effects of four independent variables—concentration of isoamyl acetate (50–90 ppm), furfuryl acetate (20–30 ppm), salt (NaCl; 0.1–2%), and pH (5–7)—on the responses were examined. The main objective of the present study was to determine the optimal concentration level of the four variables leading to optimal release of the volatile compounds. Quantitative measurements were conducted using solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Salt concentration and isoamyl acetate concentration were found to have significant positive effects (p ≤ 0.001) on the release of isoamyl acetate. The optimization procedure indicated that the optimal conditions leading to the desirable volatile release were isoamyl acetate 90 ppm, furfuryl acetate 30 ppm, salt 2% w/v, and pH 6.0176. The findings of this study can enable chefs and food manufacturers to optimize conditions for maximum flavor release from food emulsion products.

Objective To establish a method for analysis of ethyl acetate and ethanol remained in lycopene oleoresin by headspace GC. Methods Ethyl acetate and aethanol remained in lycopene oleoresin were determined by headspace GC on Rtx-5 column, with FID detecter, high purity nitrogen as the carry gas, the column temperature was programmed raised. Results Ethyl acetate and ethanol were completely separated. The solvents showed good linear relationship within the concentration range examined. The recoveries were between 81 %-101 %. The RSD of precision was less than 5 %. Conclusion This method was proved to be simple and accurate and can be used to determinate ethyl acetate and ethanol remained in lycopene oleoresin simultaneity.

The volatile compounds in Zhuyeqing liquor were extracted and enriched by head space-solid phase microextraction(HS-SPME) and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). The sources and health functions of the compounds were discussed. At the same time, the effects of SPME fiber type, extraction time, equilibrium and extraction temperatures and salt dosage on the extraction efficiency of volatile compounds were evaluated. The best condition was 8.0 mL of sample in a 20-mL headspace glass vial in the presence of 0.20 g/mL salt equilibrated with stirring at 70 ℃ for 45 min before extraction using a 50/30 μm DVB/CAR/PDMS fiber at 70 ℃ for 45 min. Under this condition, a total of 65 compounds were isolated, 56 of which were identified structurally, together accounting for 98.16% of the total volatile substances. Twenty-six of these identified compounds came from the base liquor(compound wine), and the others came from the traditional Chinese medicines in Zhuyeqing liquor. The major components were D-limonene, eugenol, caryophyllene, camphol, borneol, camphene, borneol acetate, alpha-santalol, and copaene, totally accounting for 31.63% of the total volatile components. Despite their relatively low contents, these volatile compounds derived from traditional Chinese medicines provided Zhuyeqing liquor with a unique fragrance and health functions.
