Essential oil composition of chervil growing wild in Hungary. Part 1.

1994
ABSTRACT The essential oil of Anthriscus cerefolium (L.) Hoffm. (Chervil), which was produced from plant material growing wild in Hungary, was examined by a combination of peak enrichment and GC/MS. Approximately 95% of the oil comprised of undecane, methyl chavicol (syn. estragole) and l-allyl-2,4-dimethoxybenzene. Anethole was found only in traces.
