The invention relates to a preparation method of a chitosan-based slow-release flavor type nano composite micro-capsule coating material. Chitosan shows relatively good application prospects in the field of functional coatings and in the field of coating finishing, but has relatively less application research in leather finishing materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a weak acid solution, adding chitosan powder, performing ultrasonic treatment, and stirring to obtain a chitosan dissolved solution; dissolving an amphiphilic copolymer micelle F127 into an organic solvent to form a uniform and transparent solution, adding a nano-particle precursor and essence molecules, and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain a mixed solution; and injecting the mixed solution into the chitosan dissolved solution by adopting a micro-injector, continuously stirring, and drying the organic solvent by virtue of evaporation to obtain the chitosan-based slow-release flavor type nano composite micro-capsule coating material. A micro capsule prepared by using the method disclosed by the invention is stable in structure and regular in size, has certain film-forming properties and essence coating and control release properties, and has relatively good application potential in the fields of functional leathers, textiles and related coating materials.
