AN APPROACH TO THE THEORETICAL TREATMENT OF MAGNETIC CONCENTRATION

A theoretical treatment of the magnetic concentration of ores in magnetic separators is given. The results, plotted as the concentration of magnetic material in the powder vs. number of separations, are compared to experimental data. The agreement between experimental and theoretical values is shown to depend on particle size. (C.J.G.)
