Single-chip Automotive CMOS Regulator

Single-chip multi-function automotive IC voltage regulator is designed based on BiCMOS technology.It uses a temperature compensated reference voltage regulator to replace the alternator output diodes to provide the sample voltage.The regulator is designed into single-chip CMOS integrated approach,which reduces the volume so that it can be produced together with alternators,enhances stability of the regulator and improves quality of the vehicle power supply,effectively extends the life of automotive electronics.Spice simulation results show that the chip fully meet the required specification.
