A new generation IP functions of Infiniti phacoemulsification in the application of mature cataract surgery

Objective To observe IP (Intelligent Phaco) function of the Infmiti phacoemulsification in the application of mature cataract extraction. Methods Eighty patients (128 eyes) with mature cataract were randomly divided into group A and B,in which group A of 40 patients (66 eyes) had IP features of twist phacoemulsification and cataract surgery,group B of 40 patients (62 eyes) had twist phacoemulsification cataract surgery.Anterior capsule was stained with indocyanine green line intraoperatively for capsulorhexis.Anterior chamber stability,energy release and time were observed during operation.Corneal edema,anterior chamber reaction and vision conditions were examined on the 1 day,3 and 7 days after surgery.Changes in corneal endothelial cells were tracked. Results The success rate in the CCC (continuous circular capsulorhexis) was 96.8%.Anterior chamber stability was the same both in Group A and B (P >0.05).The intraoperative ultrasound energy uses and time in group A was significantly less than the group B; corneal edema on 1 day,3 and 7 days after operation of group A was less than group B (P <0.05); moreover,visual acuity of group A was better than group B (P <0.05) 1 day,3 and 7 days postoperatively.Obstacles in the needle of phacoemulsification surgery in group A was better than group B (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of IP function of Infiniti phacoemulsification in mature cataract surgery is safe,efficient and effective way of good operation,especially in the hard-core processing for mature cataract,effective use of the "impact drill" effect; for the hard core of the emulsion,better than Ozil phacoemulsification cataract extraction.
