Iron abundances in G dwarfs

High resolution coude spectra in the blue and violet spectral regions have been obtained for five G dwarfs. Model atmospheres and spectrum synthesis of selected iron lines have been performed. Thegf values as well as other atomic parameters used in this analysis were previously tested by means of a solar model and the UtrechtSolar Atlas.
