The invention relates to an electromagnetic actuating mechanism for parking an electric automobile. The electromagnetic actuating mechanism comprises a ratchet, a pawl, a push rod and an electromagnetic mechanism. The electromagnetic mechanism is connected with the pawl through the push rod; the electromagnetic mechanism is used for linearly driving the push rod to do extending and shrinking movement; the pawl which is arranged in a matching manner with the ratchet is engaged with and separated from the ratchet under the extending and shrinking movement. Preferably, a movable iron core in the electromagnetic mechanism is positioned at the inner part of the fixed iron core; a power output shaft is arranged in the movable iron core in a permeating manner and permeates out of the fixed iron core to be connected with the push rod; a parking coil, a permanent magnet and an unlocking coil are positioned between the movable iron core and the fixed iron core and are arranged sequentially along the length direction of the movable iron core; and the parking coil and the unlocking coil are wound oppositely. The electromagnetic actuating mechanism may also include a position detection part and a control module. The electromagnetic actuating mechanism for parking the electric automobile disclosed by the invention has a clever design and a simple structure, can improve the service life and the reliability of machinery of the parking system so as to improve safety performance of the electric automobile and is suitable for large-scale promotion and application.
