MODELLING AND SURVEY RESULTS OF IN-MINE ELECTROMAGNETICS FOR BRINE LAYER DETECTION

This project uses computer modelling to understand the physics behind performing time-domain electromagnetics (TDEM) in a potash mine environment, specifically those in Saskatchewan, Canada. The project seeks to predict the effectiveness several practical applications of TDEM but principal of these is the detection of brine-layers in the carbonates near mine.
