Experimental HF‐Ar lineshape parameters in far infrared: Broadening, shifts, and line mixing
2008
We studied the pure rotational lineshapes of HF in gaseous argon (30–330 Amagat) at ambient temperature. The measured absorption coefficients were fitted by a sum of Rosenkranz profiles to obtain widths, shifts, and asymmetry parameters. We compared them with the literature data and ascribed the detected line asymmetry to the line mixing effect whose influence was considered in the framework of semiclassical approach.
