Aspectos biotecnológicos da silagem biológica de resíduos do Tambaqui

2021
Silage production derived from the reuse of residues from the processing of tambaqui is evaluated. Treatments differed in amounts of inoculum (pure cultures of bacterium Lactobacillus plantarum ATCC 8014), namely, 2.5%; 5,0%; 7.5% (v/p). Silage inoculation period was 35 days and pH parameters were T1 - 4.81±0.04; T2 - 4.91±0.06; T3 - 4.85±0.03; for titratable acidity, the percentages were T1 - 3.43±0.03; T2 - 3.43±0.05; T3 -3.51±0.04. There was no significant difference in treatments during the centesimal assessment of humid biological silage of tambaqui residues. They remained close that of in natura residues. On the other hand, in dehydrated biological silage, yield and physical and chemical characteristics of silage in all treatments had positive and high quality results with BP at T1 – 32.49±0.54; T2 – 33.65±1.26; T3 – 37.15±1.0; lipid rate at T1 – 30.44±0.09; T2 – 36.44±4.35; T3 – 33.92±3.65; ashes at T1 – 15.44±0.23; T2 – 16.46±0.29; T3 – 15.67±0.37. Organic fish silage becomes an alternative for the fishing industry and promotes a sustainable and profitable disposal for waste generated during processing. It constitutes raw material of quality for the development of products with high added value of nutrients, which may be employed in animal feed.
