Hemostatic material comprising calcium carboxymethyl cellulose powder and water-soluble chitosan compound powder and process for preparing the same

Provided are a hemostatic material and a production method thereof. The hemostatic material comprises: a sheet-like base material; and a hemostatic layer formed on at least one side of the sheet-like base material and comprising calcium carboxymethyl cellulose powder. The hemostatic material, according to an embodiment of the present invention, can be used as various medical materials such as anti-adhesion materials and wound dressing materials other than hemostatic materials.
