Method for detecting Pt and Rh content in glass efficiently and accurately

2013
The invention discloses a method for detecting Pt and Rh content in glass efficiently and accurately. The method comprises the following steps of (A) weighing m[1] g of glass powder accurately, dissolving the glass powder by guaranteed reagent concentrated perchloric acid and guaranteed reagent concentrated hydrofluoric acid thoroughly in sequence by virtue of heating, and stopping heating when the solution begins to release white smoke; (B) cooling the solution obtained by the step (A) to a room temperature and diluting the solution to a volumetric flask; and (C) detecting and analyzing the Pt and Rh content in the solution contained in the volumetric flask and obtained by the step (B) by using ICP-OES. The guaranteed reagent concentrated perchloric acid and guaranteed reagent hydrofluoric acid are used to dissolve the glass powder sample in a platinum crucible by virtue of heating; the solution is diluted to a constant volume, and then Pt and Rh content in the sample is detected and analyzed by using ICP-OES. Compared with a conventional detection and analysis method, the method provided by the invention is accurate and efficient, has a low detection limit, and is simple to operate and fast in analysis.
