Technology of complex processing of fly ash of thermal power stations

This paper describes the results of investigations of the particle-size distribution (granulometric composition), the component and mineral compositions and certain physicochemical characteristics of fly ash of the Irkutskenergo thermal power station (TPS-11) (Usole-Sibirskoe). The possibility has been established of production of quality iron and aluminosilicate concentrates by methods of wet magnetic separation and flotation. The beneficiation wastes can be used as an addition in the manufacture of building materials.
