Inductor and manufacturing method thereof

2007
The present invention relates to an inductor, in particular to an inductor on which the conducting pole plates are easy to solder. The inductor comprises a hollow coil that is wound with a wire coated with an insulating layer and has two free terminals; the hollow coil is embedded in a magnetic core shell, the two free terminals are led out from the magnetic core shell and are soldered with pole plates; a groove is formed on the leading-out part of each free terminal in the magnetic core shell. The present invention solves the problems that the wire diameter is limited, the pins may fracture when the insulating layer on the pins is removed or the pins are bended, and the solder joint between the pin and the pole plate may be beyond the physical dimension range specified for finished product and thereby result in compromised appearance or even cause unacceptable product; in addition, the present invention reduces the producing procedures, and optimizes the product appearance.
