Turbo machine with a mixing tube element with a vortex generator

A turbomachine (2) includes a compressor section (4), a combustion chamber (8, 30, 47, 50) which is operatively connected to the compressor section (4), an end cover (10) (on the combustion chamber 8, 30, , 50) 47 is mounted, and an injection nozzle assembly (20, 21, 22), which (with the combustion chamber 8, 30, 47, 50) is operatively connected. The injection nozzle assembly (20, 21, 22) includes a plurality of mixing tube elements (100). Each of the plurality of mixing tube elements (100) comprises a conduit (130) having a first fluid inlet (132), a second fluid inlet (134) disposed downstream of the first fluid inlet (132), an outlet (137) downstream from the first and second fluid inlet (132, 134) is disposed, and a swirl generator (144, 170, 184, 193, 194, 195, 220, 222) disposed between the first and the second fluid inlet (132, 134). The swirl generator (144, 170, 184, 193, 194, 195, 220, 222) is configured and arranged to generate a plurality of vortices in the interior of the conduit (130) to a first and a second fluid (132, 134), flow through each of the plurality of mixing tube elements (100) to mix with each other.
