Devices and methods for internal assisted spraying a liquid fuel, wherein the fuel fluid is injected into a combustion zone (100) through a passage (30) which ends in an outlet opening (50) and wherein the sputtering gas is injected through a plurality of conduits (20), the passage (30) comprising a narrow portion (31) and a chamber (10) larger but relatively short downstream of the narrow part pre-spraying ( 31), pipes (20) comprising end sections (21) of smaller diameter which opens tangentially into the narrow portion (31) of the passage (30) near the inlet opening of the chamber (10) so that the atomizing gas impacts the liquid fuel and provides the fuel liquid a helical movement.
