THE NEW APPROACH TO DETERMINATION OF SILICON DIOXIDE CONTENT IN ARENACEOUS QUARTZ BY HYDROFLUORIC ACID

On the basis of the characteristics of arenaceous quartz and the comparison test from results hydrofluoric acid method and the melting method, a simple and new method termed as the hydrofluoric acid (MHA) method for quick analysis of the silicon dioxide content in arenaceous quartz was established.The analysis principlie,analysis condition and the precision of the MHA were discussed.
