Study on impact of different delivery modes on newborns

2014
Objective Impact of vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery on neonatal were compared to confirm the clinical value of vaginal delivery. Methods Data of 68 newborns in Fuxian District People 's Hospital of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department from January 2012 to May 2013 were retrospectively analyzed,68 cases were divided into observation group and control group according to delivery mode,34 cases in each group. Cases in observation group were with vaginal delivery, cases in control group were with cesarean delivery. neonatal data of two groups including the umbilical cord blood resistin concentration, immunoglobulin levels, cellular immune level and neonatal quality level were compared. Results The umbilical cord blood resistin concentration, immunoglobulin levels, cellular immune level and neonatal quality level of cases in study group were better than that in control group( P 0.05),no significant difference were found in IgA,IgM,C4 immune proteins between two groups( P 0.05).Conclusion Newborns with vaginal delivery have advantages in umbilical cord blood resistin concentration, immunoglobulins level, immune cell levels, which provide evidence for choose of delivery mode.
