The effect of Eperythrozoon suis on immunological function in piglets and the selection of immunopotentiators.

In order to investigate the effect of Eperythrozoon suis on immune level in piglets,and compare the regulating effects of different immunopotentiators on immune level of sickly piglets,20 healthy Large White were used in the experiment.20 piglets were randomly divided into 5 groups.The treated groups and positive control group were infected artificially by Eperythrozoon suis,and the treated groups were treated separately with Sposknikovan,APS and Levamisole.The other group was the negative control group.And then the cellular and humoral immune indices were assessed.The result showed that when piglets were infected by Eperythrozoon suis,the abilities of cellular and humoral immune declined.It also showed that APS was the best immunopotentiator.
