Hersilie y sus hermanas: figuras femeninas subversivas en la obra de Goethe

espanolLas obras de Goethe estan pobladas por numerosisimas mujeres. En este articulo presto atencion a algunas de las que aparecen en el Wilhelm Meister a lo largo de sus andanzas con el objetivo de situar la subversion que encarnan en la narrativa de Goethe. Argumentare que estas figuras femeninas actuan como contrapunto a lo que se expone en el marco narrativo. El texto de Goethe esta compuesto por subtextos y unidades diversas, y esta repleto de una multiplicidad de voces y perspectivas. Al concentrarme precisamente en las relaciones que entablan entre si los textos y las voces mostrare que los personajes femeninos son esenciales a la compleja configuracion del sistema de oposiciones y la multiplicidad de niveles de la novela. Concluyo con unas reflexiones sobre la proyeccion utopica de las mujeres. EnglishGoethe’s works are replete with female characters. In this article I concentrate on some of the women who appear in Wilhelm Meister throughout his travels in order to situate the subversion that women embody in Goethe’s narrative. I will argue that these female characters act as a counterpoint to what is expressed in the narrative framework. Goethe’s text is made up of subtexts and diverse units, and is filled with a multiplicity of voices and perspectives. By paying attention precisely to the relationships that are established between the texts and the voices I will show that the female characters are essential to the complex configuration of the system of oppositions and the multiplicity of levels in the novel. I conclude with a few reflections on the utopian projection of women.
