Application status and prospect of ontology in TCM

This paper introduced the concept of ontology and its application status in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),pointed out that the significance of establishing domain ontology was to promote the process of the digitization and standardization of TCM.But the difficulty was on the complexity and multiplicity of TCM concepts.It need to conform to the thinking way of TCM in the construction of TCM ontology.Our team tried to use artificial intelligence technology to express the TCM concept and correlation accurately,completely and faithfully by constructing semantic network,which will solve the problem in the process of constructing TCM ontology.
