The Holocene evolution of soil cover in the western part of the Caspian Lowland

1995
Natural evolution of soil cover has been studied in western Caspian lowland (Kalmykia) within the Sarpa and the Black Lands depressions, which differ by their age of continental conditions and by their topolithic features. The results obtained are based on the analysis of buried soils in mound hills of various age, as well as on the data on standard natural soils and those formed on the mound hill banks.
