A data storage device and method of operating a flash memory

The write block flash memory includes a first and a second write block; write the first write block and the second block comprises a plurality of pages each. The controller executes a firmware to determine a first data to be stored from a host terminal whether page data is complete. If the first data to be stored is complete page data, the controller sets a first data to be stored is written to the first memory block. If the first data to be stored non-full page data, the controller sets a first data to be stored is written to the second memory block.
