We read with interest the article ‘Providing a genitourinary medicine colposcopy service’ in the recent issue of Sexually Transmitted Infections .1 While the article summarises the history of colposcopy services in the ‘genitourinary medicine’ practice, it does not acknowledge the significant improvements in overall colposcopy.
