The present invention discloses a modular bilateral flux switching permanent magnet linear motor, comprising a motor primary and a motor secondary. Motor primary includes a plurality of primary modules, each primary module in turn includes a primary core, a permanent magnet and the armature windings arranged to form a dispersion of the primary core alveolar structure, the permanent magnets placed in the gullet, together with the adjacent permanent magnets form a primary core alternating vertical groove, the direction of magnetization of the permanent magnet adjacent to the contrary, an armature winding mounted in the groove; motor secondary includes a secondary core and a secondary salient pole, salient poles shifted position of the secondary pitch constant, the motor an air gap between the primary and the motor secondary.
