Effect on Actin in Melanocytes by Endothelin-1 and Stem Cell Factor

Objective Study the effect on actin in melanocytes by cell factors like endothelin-1(ET-1) and stem cell factor(SCF)in vitro. Methods Human epidermal melanocytes that had been cultured and purified.ET-1 and SCF were added to the second generations of cultured melanocytes,after 24hrs the actins in melanocytes were investigated by immunofluorescence technique and image analysis.Results After intervened by cell factors,actins in melanocytes were congregated,especially by ET-1(P0.05).Conclusion ET-1 and SCF can promote actins′ congregation in melanocyte in vitro and then accelerate on cell′s adhesion and migration.
