FORMAL ASPECTS OF POTENTIAL THEORY.

1968
Recent years have seen new approaches toward the mathematical problems of scattering theory. In what follows, we will summarize some of the formal techniques that have been applied to the non-relativistic scattering of a particle in a fixed source potential V. Hopefully, one or more of these ideas may some day prove useful for the understanding of the more complicated relativistic and n-body theories.
