Status Quo and Problems of Pesticide Application during Rice Production in Wugang City and Countermeasures

In recent years,the occurrence of diseases and insect pests for rice in Wugang city showed characteristics of increasing varieties,enhancing resistance and obvious overlapping damage,which seriously impacted safety of rice production.Through making a questionnaire investigation for 107 farmers from Wantouqiao town,Dengyuantai town,Longtian village and Longxipu town,the main problems of applying pesticide during rice production in Wugang city and their causes were analyzed.Then,some countermeasures were proposed,such as strengthening power to training producing techniques for farmers,enhancing management degree for pesticide and supervision degree for pesticide application,and increasing input for agricultural technology.
