A CAMAC controller for the limited streamer tube readout

Abstract A controller is described for the limited streamer tube readout. It can handle up to 8192 channels organized in 8 buses at a rate of 5 MHz. The time required to collect and store all the data in memories is 5 μs. The data are then available to be read out via CAMAC in DMA mode by a computer.
