Immunogenicity test of xylanase from Bacillus subtilis strain BE-91 in mice.

Serum samples were collected from the SPF mice,which were immunized with the purified xylanase,and detected by the established ELISA on level of IgG and the contents of IFN-γ and IL-4.After being analyzed with SPSS software,the level of IgG in the experimental group was very significantly diffe-rent from that in the blank and negative controls(P0.01),but the level of IgG between the blank and negative control groups was not significantly different.The content of IFN-γ in the experimental group was very significantly different from that in the other groups(P0.01),and the content of IFN-γ in the positive control was also very significantly different from that in the blank control and negative control(P0.01),but there was no significant difference between the blank control and the negative control.The content of IL-4 in the experimental group was not significantly different from that in the positive control,but was very significantly different from that in the blank control and negative control(P0.01),whereas there was no significant difference between the blank control and the negative control.The results indicated that the xylanase from Bacillus subtilis strain BE-91 had a good immunogenicity and could stimulate cellular and humoral immunities in the mice.
