Theoretical study of magnetic-anisotropy effects on initial permeability of amorphous alloys with near-zero magnetostriction
1996
A model is developed that describes the effects of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy (characterized by uniaxial anisotropy constant and the direction of anisotropy axis) on the initial permeability of low-magnetostriction amorphous alloys. Magnetostriction and residual stresses are taken into account. The opportunity of accounting for both the magnetization rotation and domain-wall displacements is demonstrated. The model allows one to explain a number of regularities observed in effects of thermomagnetic-treatment-induced uniaxial magnetic anisotropy on the initial permeability.
