Design and Analysis of Instantaneous Magnetic Release for DC Circuit Breaker

This paper focuses on the research of instantaneous magnetic release for DC circuit breaker. By the electromagnetic modeling and analysis,the law by which the static characteristics vary with the air gap was obtained. Based on the static calculation,the dynamic characteristics were acquired with the motion of iron core in consideration,which provides a calculation method for the optimization design of instantaneous magnetic release.
