Hyperprolinemia type II: Evidence of the excretion of 3-hydroxy Δ1-pyrroline 5-carboxylic acid

We report the identification of Δ 1 -pyrroline 3-hydroxy 5-carboxylic acid (hydroxy PCA) in a previously reported patient with hyperprolinemia Type II. This compound had been called pseudo PCA in a previous report.
