The effects of microencapsulate compounds supplementation on growth performance, immune cells, rectal temperature in weaned pigs by lipopolysaccharides.

2019
A total of 40 21-days-old weaned and crossbred pigs [(Landrace × Yorkshire) × Duroc] with an average initial BW of 4.43 ± 1.41 kg were used this experiment 2 weeks in time. There have 4 treatments. Each treatment has 10 replicates with 5 pigs per pen. Treatments were followed: 1) MOE -, LPS + 2) MOE -, LPS - 3) 0.2 % MOE +, LPS + 4) 0.2 % MOE +, LPS -. The FBW, BWG, ADG, and ADFI were a significantly difference between MOE + and MOE - (P < 0.05). In the results of MOE +, CP digestibility was significantly higher than MOE - (P < 0.05). Although, LPS + was significantly high than LPS - in the 4, 8, 12, and 16 h (P < 0.05). In the blood profiles, cortisol, TNF-, IL-1, neutrophil, lymphocyte, RBC, Hb, and Hct were significantly difference between LPS + and LPS - (P < 0.05). IgG, WBC, and eosinophil were the most significantly difference between the LPS and MOE treated (P < 0.05). In summary, MOE is potentially good effect for growth performance and some part of immune response in weaned pigs.
