A new duality in the linearized toda lattice

Abstract In the multi-dimensional Toda lattice formulated in the form of gauge theory, a new type of duality is found between the gauge field and the Toda amplitude. This enables us to generate new solutions through both Backlund and gauge transformation by solving a linearized Toda equation.
