Observation on the Clinical Nursing for Diabetic Foot Treated by New Type of Dressing

2015
Objective To investigate the clinical nursing effect on diabetic foot treated by new type of dressing. Methods 80 cases with diabetic foot admitted in our hospital from July 2011 to December 2014 were selected as the subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 40 cases in each. During the nursing process, patients in the control group used traditional dressing for changing dressing, while those in the observation group used new type of dressing. Results The comparison of the clinical effect between the two groups showed that the overall response rate of the observation group was 95%, much higher than 70% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05); the number of changing dressing and healing time in the observation group were obviously less than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Application of new type of dressing to the clinical nursing for diabetic foot can reduce the damage to the wound and the skin around the wound, improve the therapeutic effect, decrease the number of changing dressing, and shorten the healing time, which is of great value, so it is worthy of clinical promotion.
