Bentonite's modificaltion with chitosan

From experimental study,a kind of absorber is made from the combination of chitosan and bentonite.The mechanism is expounded that chitosan can combines with bentonite each other.The absorber is used for absorption of tannic acid in Chinese medicines,and is used to treat dyestuff,and is used to deal nature vinegar.The decolor rate is 97%.The absorbing rate of tannic acid is 50%.The T of nature vinegar is 25.8%.The structure of bentonite and the mechanism for modification are studied by X-ray diffraction.The results show that the structure of bentonitea is not changed and chitosan is absorbed on the surface of bentonite.
