Effective Analysis and Diagnosis of Liver Disorder

The numerous disorders of the liver, necessitate clinical care by medical professionals. Recent developments in the field of medical data analysis have contributed significantly to improving the efficiency of diagnosis and the healthcare provided to the patients. There has been an increase in liver disorders over recent years. It has been counted among the most malignant diseases in several countries around the globe. Analysis of a real patient dataset has been conducted in this study for the purpose of constructing a classification model which can predict liver disorders. Analysis is done using six algorithms aided by data mining and their performances are compared, based on recall, accuracy and precision. The results show a potential approach for diagnosis of a liver disorder at an earlier stage.
