The present invention belongs to renewable resources, non-ferrous metals comprehensive recovery, hydrometallurgy, metallurgy, and more particularly relates to a process for recovery of nickel and aluminum in the spent Raney nickel catalyst, comprising the step of acid leaching step and Shen alum, wherein: the step of scrap Shen alum Raney nickel catalyst after the acid leaching, into the leaching solution was added ammonium sulfate and sodium sulfate, ammonium alum crystals precipitated therefrom and nickel sulfate solution obtained. The process of the present invention is a short, high efficiency, low materials consumption, low production cost; cobalt through leaching step can sink and alum step, etc., nickel, copper can be enriched in the analytical solution, recovered, high value-added products, nickel, high recovery of aluminum, significant economic benefits; the process does not produce waste, emissions, reducing waste emissions, environmentally friendly and avoid pollution and waste of resources.
