Using esters as fabric softening active ingredient

Fatty acid esters derived from alkanol amines with 1, 2 or 3 alkanol groups are usable as textile softener. It is often of advantage if the alkanol amine esters are used in the form of their salts of inorganic or organic acids. The esters are easily biodegradable and extremely effective.
